Establishment of health care "7th city dental clinic" was opened in March 1976 in adapted and attached to the dwelling house, previously planned for a vegetable store and children's dairy kitchen.

In the clinic there were 3 departments - medical, children's and orthopedic with a dental laboratory. Of the auxiliary services, there were X-ray and physiotherapy rooms, registries of medical, children's and orthopedic departments.

The planned capacity of the polyclinic was 295 visits per shift.

The polyclinic served the population of 12 city polyclinics in the amount of 65 thousand, 20 children's polyclinics - 13 thousand, 120 thousand people of Frunzensky district were attached to rendering orthopedic help.

The outfit of the polyclinic was represented by the dental equipment of the Kazan plant.

The workplace of the doctor was completed with a dental unit US 30, a dental chair and a chair with a turntable for the doctor. In each office, four such sets were installed, which contradicted all sanitary standards. Disinfection and sterilization of medical instruments was carried out in specially designated rooms between 2 adjacent rooms.

In the medical and children's departments, there were 36 medical posts, of which only 25% were dentists with higher education, the rest were staffed by dentists with secondary education, in the orthopedic department of 12 medical posts, dentists and orthopedists accounted for 75%.

The first head physician of the clinic was appointed dentist-orthopedist Kravchenko Vladimir Akimovich, who was awarded the title of "Honored Doctor of the Republic of Belarus."

Over a period of little more than 30 years, 2 major repairs were carried out in the clinic, in 1993 two separate premises were connected by an extension, which allowed improving the working conditions of the personnel, creating physician offices and new workplaces.

 

During the last major overhaul in the period from 1998 to 2005, the polyclinic premises were reconstructed, centralized sterilization equipment was allocated, the material base was re-equipped with complete replacement of dental units, with centralized compressor equipment and with equipment replacement in the dental laboratory.

 

Currently, the outpatient clinics have a modern design, are equipped with high-tech equipment that allows to render dental care using the latest technologies and high-quality materials for prevention, treatment and prosthetics.

In recent years, new methods and technologies for rendering dental care to the population have been introduced in the clinic, such as dental implantation, the manufacture of removable dentures by injection molding, prosthetics with nonmetallic ceramics, zirconium.

 

Much attention is paid to the prevention of dental diseases, widely promoted hygiene skills in schools, preschool children's groups. The equipment has been purchased and the technology of treatment of the initial forms of caries with the help of ozone and the preparation "ICON" without surgical intervention and tooth filling has been introduced.

The medical staff of the polyclinic is highly qualified, 89% of the doctors are certified, 6 members of the team are awarded with the badge "Excellent worker of the health of the USSR" and "Excellent worker in the health of the Republic of Belarus", 3 Certificate of Honor of the Minsk City Executive Committee, 15 Certificate of Honor of the Committee On health protection of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

In 2001, the polyclinic was awarded with the Certificate of Honor of the Minsk City Council of Deputies, was repeatedly awarded with the Certificate of Honor of the Health Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee as the best institution among the city's dental polyclinics based on the results of the work for the year.
